Working from home fashion is all about comfort while not sacrificing style.

Working from home fashion is all about comfort while not sacrificing style.  Need some help on what to wear?  Here are a few of my favorite work from home pieces this fall that’ll you’ll wear long after quarantine.

Stretchy Denim
Jeans to work? When you’re working from home it’s a YES! Look for jeans that have some stretch to them so are not uncomfortable when sitting all day.  When in doubt go up a size for added comfort. Darker washes tend to be a little dressier, which is a great option for versatility since they can be dressed up or down.  American Eagle has some great denim in so many different styles. My go-to jeans are these basic skinny jeans in a dark wash. Not only are they comfortable and form-fitting they pair well with everything from a hoodie to a blazer, a sneaker to a heel…that’s what I call versatile!

Leggings
Don’t want to be “that person” who gets caught on the zoom call with no pants on.  Leggings paired with a cute top and jacket make an effortlessly chic look.  I love leggings with patterns like these leopard ones from American Eagle, my favourite way to style them is with a cute white tee, a black long cardigan, and a few layered necklaces.  Stretchy pants like these ones from Design Lab are also a great option if you’re looking for something a little dressier but equally as comfortable.

Cozy Sweaters and Cardigans
A soft knit duster, cardigan, or sweater is soft and cozy, and right on trend for fall 2020.  While basic black is versatile and goes with everything….try stepping out of the box and look for pieces in rich hues like this burnt orange ribbed sweater to add that extra warmth and texture. A fun printed cardigan like this leopard one from Joe Fresh is also a great way to add some great on-trend patterns to your look. If leopard is a little too daring for you try something neutral like this woodsmoke cropped cardigan.  The trick to wearing a cropped style is to pair it with something longer underneath.

Fall Florals
Autumn is the perfect time to rock a good frock, whether it’s midi, mini, or even a maxi.  Florals in a muted color palette like this wrap dress from Dynamite are an unexpected choice for fall.  I love the delicate ruffle detail that’s fun and feminine and can be worn with boots, heels, tights, or a cardigan for extra warmth.  The style pairings are endless with the cute ruffle, and the orange on the black colour palette gives me all the fall vibes.

Accessories
Not only is a scrunchie a cute way to keep your hair tied back, but it’s also a lot less damaging on your locks and available in fun fabrics and colours. Layered necklaces instantly glam up and a basic tee.  While gold seems to be dominating the streets, silver is still a great option if it's more your style.  A lot of necklaces can now be bought together as one taking the guessing work out of trying to mix your bling on your own.  Not sure where to begin? Try something simple like this delicate layered necklace that's simple and versatile and will instantly glam up any t-shirt yet still match your fancy dress. Looking for something with a little more wow….this colourful work of art will surely makes a statement. For more inspiration visit,  https://shopstlaurent.com/campaign/
