Marilisa Granzotto, Alina Safonova, Vadim Safonov - "I grew up in an Italian household. We danced all the time at our gatherings. A friend told me about Arthur Murray. I stuck out the training and they gave me a student. After four years of teaching high school, I decided this was more enjoyable and never looked back." (Read More)


Bela Csombok Jr. and Kurt Hillebrand - Young Street Garage: "It started off with Winfried Hillebrand and Bela Csombok Senior; my father and my business partner's father. They opened up April 1, 1976 and we both sort of grew into the business. I spent virtually all my school holidays here; started off cleaning the floors, did everything from the mechanical side right through to the bookkeeping. Did it all." (Read More)


Judy Faulkner -  "After I graduated from university in 1983 my mother, Sandra Faulkner, encouraged me to come into the real estate business. At the time mom was not only a superstar realtor, she was loved by all that knew her." (Read More)


Suzana and Rino Franzese - "We used to come to the previous café at this location. This is actually where we met and started dating. When it came up for sale we said ĎLet's go for it.'" (Read More)


Lucy Chapman - "I bought this house in 1998. It was really a dump but I'm a carpenter so I saw the potential. In the course of tearing it apart I discovered a lot about it. I have all these records. This house was built just before 1900. I found a box of love letters from the 1940s. This is just one house. They all have these rich histories." (Read More)
