Ottawa At Home magazine celebrated 10 years of inspiring readers with an event that brought the magazine pages to life. A combination of wine and beer tasting from SAVVY Company and Beaus beer, food inspired by food editor Paula Roy and décor came together with Inspirat10n Celebrat10n, held at the Ottawa Convention Centre on June 17th. The Trillium Room, on the fourth floor with spectacular views of the canal and downtown core, provided the perfect backdrop for an event that celebrated the best of what is offered in the nation's capital's lifestyle scene.

Men and women gathered to share in the celebration that kicked off the night with CTV Morning Live host Lianne Laing welcoming Juno nominated singer Amanda Rheaume on stage. A long-time friend of Ottawa At Home magazine, Amanda gave a stellar performance earning rave reviews from new and existing fans! Mayor Jim Watson surprised editor-in-chief Mary Taggart with a tribute from the city, praising Ottawa At Home's contributions to the capital.

Highlighting the event were the four guest speakers that shared the Luxe Home Interiors stage to inspire guests in a host style chat. Food and healthy living experts Korey Kealey and Kathy Smart shared wisdoms on good nutrition while décor experts Andrew Downward and Kimberley Seldon talked paint, wallpaper, and the business of design. The dynamic foursome took to the stage in a casual engaging environment with Mary Taggart as host. The evening closed with Great River Media president Michael Curran sharing the company's goals for supporting the Royal Ottawa Hospital Foundation with a pledge of $100,000. Events like Inspirat10n Celebrat10n contribute towards reaching the pledge goal.
