It’s not just the fact that Ottawa is the Nation’s Capital, or that it boasts the largest outdoor skating rink in the world, has the most breathtaking floral display each spring with tulips blooming east, west, north and south, plays host to a world class marathon, offers close proximity to waterways for boating and swimming in summer, presents decent ski hills in winter plus outdoor markets and a vibrant downtown shopping area and is surrounded by rich heritage and cultural attractions, that makes this city a tourist destination.
