The shop sits within what is said to be the oldest house in Stittsville, whose prior residents are known to linger about, giving the cedar home a reputation for being haunted.
The boutique is small in size but time is required to take full advantage of all that is offered. There are so many pleasures and treasures scattered throughout that returning visits are a must. It is the perfect place to find an unusual gift or special décor item. You'll discover wall art and hand-painted furniture, gourmet food items or a chic hat, purse or necklace that you won't likely see on someone else.
BEHIND THE SCENES: Christina and her husband renovated the 1871 log and stone house. Her creative spirit is felt throughout the three floors. Christina uses recycled materials in much of her artwork and it is only fitting that the restored and renovated space serves as her studio as well.
ADDED BONUS: St Elmo's Fire plays host to a variety of life and art classes offering workshops for both adults and children. Themes are varied but all run on the premise of creating and journeying through life with creativity, spirituality and passion.
